Faiza Anum is an educator, poet and occasional translator. Her work has been published poems in multiple journals and anthologies, including Essential Voices: A Covid-19 Anthology (West Virginia University Press), White Kites over Gaza, Woven Tales of Palestine (North Meridian Press, US) The Pinch Journal (US), Transnational Literature (Australia), Stoneboat Literary Journal (US), The Lake (UK), The Stonecoast Review (US), The Waggle (Canada), The Ghazal Page (Canada), Eastern Structures (Canada), Pakistani Literature (Pakistan Academy of Letters) and elsewhere. Her poetry has been chosen as a finalist for highly selective prizes, including GLISH (a special project by the University of Memphis, US) and Open Road Review Poetry 2015. She did her M.Phil. in English Literature, with a dissertation on Pakistani Women Anglophone Poets, from the Institute of English Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. She works as a lecturer in the Department of English at Lahore College for Women University, Lahore, Pakistan.
